ROCK HALL — Gusting winds are continuing to create hazardous road conditions, so Friday, Jan. 10 is another synchronous online learning day.

On synchronous learning days, students receive virtual instruction at home through live-streamed classes with their teachers.

Teachers will deliver live virtual instruction through the Schoology app.

Within Schoology, teachers schedule live sessions called "Conferences." Schoology also offers a place for teachers to post materials for students that are essential to the day’s lesson.

Students will access instruction via Schoology on a synchronous day. Accessing Schoology and completing any assignments will serve as a record of attendance for the day.

If a student is unable to access Schoology they will be allowed to complete the assignment when they return to in-person instruction.

For students who do not have access to Wi-Fi, hard copies of tasks will be provided in advance (as possible) and evidence of an attempt to complete them will serve as a record of attendance for the day.

The synchronous learning day schedule for Kent County High School is:

7:40 to 8:40 a.m.
